Biography

 

After many years of training in Classical Ballet, Jazz Dance, Jive and Rock 'n' Roll, Danielle discovered the intricate beauty, the energy and the challenges of Flamenco Dance.

 

Since 1991, she has trained with top class professional Flamenco dancers and teachers at La Escuela de Baile in London and in Spain. Danielle has also pursued the study of the Spanish Dance Society Syllabus.

 

In 1995 she became a regular performer and later Committee Member of the Peņa Flamenca de Londres, London's Flamenco club offering regular monthly shows. (see Links page) and since 1996 she has taught An Introduction to Flamenco at the City Literary Institute Adult Education Centre (City Lit), Morley College, the Bishopsgate Institute and Bar Lorca in Brixton. She also teaches individuals and small private groups. (See the Classes page).

 

She is the founder of the Flamenco company, SABOR de SEVILLA.
